Sowing seeds at home

Bearing fruit unto eternity

I’m so glad you’ve dropped by for a visit on this little corner of the internet. If I could, I’d have you over for a delightful cup of coffee and chat with you about all the facets of living in this world — as a woman, a wife, a mama, a friend, a homeschool teacher, and a lifelong learner — in light of the kingdom to come.

We’re a homeschooling family of four, quite small compared to some, but just the way the Lord lovingly ordained it. For many years I’ve wrestled with the smallness of our story, but the Father has been ushering me into more and more freedom throughout the past year.

We’re daily asking ourselves the same questions as you:

Will this curriculum bear lovely fruit in my daughter’s life?

Will this schedule change help my family thrive?

Are my children’s attitudes a reflection my own poor attitude?

Where do I find strength to persevere in the monotony?

What books should I be reading as a life-long learner?

How do I walk more faithfully with God in this beautiful season?

I’m hoping this little corner of the internet can become a meeting place of mutual encouragement as we walk this path unto eternity! May the God of peace be with you!

Emily currently resides in Kentucky with her husband, Wes, and their children Arabella & Isaiah. She spends her days homeschooling her daughter, tickling her toddler, enjoying delightful read-alouds, and stealing as many kisses from her tiny people as humanly possible.
